The pilot test of the newly developed Mediterranean dishes, which are planned to be implemented in canteen menus in March, took place from 2nd to 6th of February. Two samples of the newly developed dishes were served each day, and students’ feedback was collected through a satisfaction survey. In addition, social marketing materials, such as tray liners, posters, T-shirts and pins were used to promote student adherence.
Overall, the dishes were well accepted and students expressed a high level of satisfaction.
